According to Iain's mum he was taking things apart almost before he could walk. As an adult Iain rediscovered his love of design and construction and founded his project blog at www.lushprojects.com to document his original creations. Iain creates technology that people can interact with without sitting in front of a screen and keyboard. Inspiration comes from many sources including early arcade games and modern art movements. Iain has also organized events and learning workshops for new makers.

In his talk for Reading Geek #12 Iain will be talking about how to reinvent classic arcade games for the 21st Century and taking user interaction to places that the Wii never could.
